New Horizons Downtown was established in 1998 and we moved to our current location in 2000.  Originally started as a gift shop, our business has expanded over the years to include women's apparel and footwear.  We are located in Pittsboro, NC at 52 Hillsboro Street and online at www.newhorizonsdowntown.com.  If you need to call us our number is 919-542-7366.

Co-owner Catherine McLeod grew up in the area and has enjoyed being involved in all aspects of running an independent local retail shop in Pittsboro.  She is the chief buyer and curator of all items and travels regularly to trade shows around the country to find unique items for the store.  Catherine loves to travel and gets inspiration from the different places that she visits around the globe.

Sara McLeod is also a co-owner of New Horizons and keeps both physical store locations in good working order.  In addition she assists with shipping, a role fits her perfectly since she was the store's original UPS driver!  Sara enjoys volunteering in the community and is a very talented quilter.
